St Nicholas Gun and Range Annual Shooting Match to Crown the Champion Shooter of the Year

August 1 – August 31

Shoot & Win a Kimber Rapide!
Winner will be recognized as the "Champion Shooter"
Winner's Name will be prominently displayed on permanent plaque in the lobby of the St Nicholas Range.

Contest Rules & Description

The Contest Will run from August 1 to August 31. In the Event of a tie (more than one person hits same No. of targets) A sudden death shoot out will be scheduled for Saturday Sept 14. (There will be no charge for Ammo in the Shoot out.)  

All Scores will be posted daily in the St Nicholas Range Lounge.

  1. The Target will be the Glow Shot Adhesive Splatter Target 
  2. There are 22 small circles on the target 
  3. This includes the 4 bulls eyes and the 18 other dots 
  4. Contestants will have 25 rounds of ammunition 
  5. The distance will be ten (10) yards 
  6. The contest is hitting the highest number of the 22 circle targets. A target is considered hit when any part of the outer circle is broken. 
  7. All Contestants will fire the same (9mm) ammunition and a gun from one of the same manufacturers
  8. Contestants will select a 9mm from the St Nicholas pool of rental pistols from one of the following manufacturers:
    1. A: Sig B: Glock C: S&W D: Ruger
  9. Entry Fee will be $60. This includes: Gun-Target-Ammo  

All Targets will be scored by the contest’s Supreme High Judge and Commissioner – GEORGE HOWARD – a St Nick Instructor. All Commissioner score decisions will be final.  

Employees of St Nick are Not Eligible to participate.
